ÖSSZHANG 2025 | Collective exhibition of contemporary applied arts of Hungarian artists | Szentendrei Régi Művésztelep Gallery 09.05.2025. – 10.06.2025. curated by Ida Lencsés, textile and tapestry artist

I presented some of my experimental autonome works at this exhibition. My aim is to express the beauty of the shoe industry’s engineering work by creating a visualization of the digital pattern editing process. The shoe industry production development turns out in digital platforms and I objectified the aesthetic view which I see on the computer screen during the pattern editing works. The lines of 95 pattern parts overlap each other and fulfill the canvas sheet with differend coloured threads. The plexiglass spatial artwork shows the shoe patterns of 18 overlapping parts featuring the full-brogues oxford style sneakers.

VIII. INTERNATIONAL TRIENNIAL OF TEXTILE ARTS | 21 June 2024 – 31 August 2024 | Szombathely Gallery | Online catalogue | Theme Tolerance limit 2024
The plexiglass spatial artwork shows the shoe patterns of 18 overlapping parts featuring the full-brogues oxford style sneakers. The object’s size is 3:1 magnification of its actual EU 37 size. Beyond this I presented a Miniature textile artwork where 95 lines of the pattern parts overlap each other and fulfill the canvas sheet with differend coloured threads. The coloured threads cross over each other on the canvas sheet creating an interesting landscape.
This venue is organized by the Cultural Foundation for the Textile Arts and the Savaria Museum – Szombathely Gallery in every 3 years. The 2024 venue presented 263 works by 214 artists from 4 continents of the world, representing 29 countries.

The concept of the venue was that each academician of the HAA is placed in an « intellectual-aesthetic » unit together with an artist of their choice where the academicians pass on their intellectual heritage to the representative of the next generation.
I thank gratefully to KÓKAY Krisztina for choosing me to be her intellectual partner in this project!
